Giulio Dagnino is an Associate Professor of Medical Robotics at the University of Twente (NL) and a Research Fellow at the University of Turin (IT).
His work focuses on advancing image-guided robotic interventions, specializing in developing MRI-safe devices for targeted therapies. Previously, at the Hamlyn Centre for Robotic Surgery at Imperial College London, he led a team in creating an innovative MRI-safe robotic platform for endovascular interventions, successfully tested in user studies and in-vivo trials. His contributions have earned recognition through high-impact publications and prestigious awards.
